VENDOR INFORMATION

The 2017 season of First Fridays is from May to September, 5-8 pm on Historic Mill Street in Bristol Borough. The BBBA wants to provide an interesting, culturally-rich and family-friendly shopping experience for our visitors and a successful selling experience for our vendors and artists. We intend to accept a varied mix of vendors who sell unique, quality products.

 

ALL VENDORS

Please read the Agreement in its entirety and note the following:

  • Completed  Agreements will be submitted to the BBBA Board of Directors for review and approval.  Vendors whose services and/or products are in direct competition of a Mill Street business and/or BBBA member may be denied.
  • Vendors will be notified of acceptance/denial within 2 weeks of receipt of Agreement. (Do NOT send in payment until you are approved.)
  • Payments are due at least 2 weeks prior to each Event and NO payments will be collected at the Event! Failure to submit payment by the deadline will forfeiture previously allocated vendor space.
  • Upon notification of approval, checks/money orders should be made payable to the ‘BBBA’.   Credit card or Paypal payments are NOT accepted.
  • This is an outdoor Event held Rain or Shine and no refunds will be made.
  • Vending station shall be no larger than 8x8 feet. Appropriately-sized tents/canopies are permitted.

 

MERCHANDISE/SERVICE VENDORS

  • Vendors shall pay the BBBA the sum of $30.00 for each month selected.
  • Vendors shall receive a discounted rate of $125 for all five (5) events if full payment is made prior to April 15.
  • It is the responsibility of the Vendor to bring the necessary items to display their items (table, stand, chair, etc.).
  • Completed Agreements can be emailed to BBBA1681@gmail.com, mailed to ‘BBBA, PO Box 1293, Bristol, PA 19007’ or dropped off to ‘Bird of Paradise Flowers, 231 Mill Street, Bristol, PA’.

NON-PROFIT VENDORS

  • Each Event is limited to five (5) vendor spaces allotted for non-profit organizations.
  • Non-profits shall pay the BBBA the sum of $15.00 for each month selected.
  • It is the responsibility of the Vendor to bring the necessary items to display their items (table, stand, chair, etc.).

ARTISTS / CRAFTSMEN

A special area will be designated for our "Art Walk', where artists and craftsmen may include a 'How To' element to their display with short demonstrations and a potential hands-on component.

  • Artists shall pay the BBBA the sum of $30.00* for each month selected.
  • Artist shall receive a discounted rate of $125 for all five (5) events if full payment is made prior to April 15.
  • *Those artists  who choose to display their  works with the inclusion of a demonstration of the creative process are able to secure a space for free - limited to three (3) events per season.
  • Demonstrations should be about 10-15 minutes long explaining the step-by-step creative process with a potential hands-on component for interaction with participants of all ages.  Demonstrations shall be repeated, with appropriate breaks, for the duration of the 3-hour event.
  • It is the responsibility of the Artist to bring the necessary items to display their items (table, stand, easel, chair, etc.).

FOOD VENDORS

  • Each Event is limited to three (3) Food Vendors (trucks and/or stands).
  • Food Vendors are limited to three (3) Events per season.
  • Food Vendor shall pay the BBBA the sum of $100.00 for each month selected.
  • Food Trucks and/or stands shall be no larger than 30 feet long and  10 feet wide.  Appropriately-sized tents/canopies are permitted.
  • Food Vendor must have necessary documentation of approvals/permits/certification to provide food service with them on site.  Vendor must comply with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and ordinances concerning Vendor’s participation in the Event, including without limitation, regulations concerning food preparation and food sales.
  • Food Vendor shall leave the location substantially in the condition it was before they occupied it including the removal of ALL bags/containers of trash prior to departure.
